Outdoor Hike and Bible Study Series
The Saturday Morning Explorers will again gather in an outdoor setting, with an optional hike as part of the session, to focus on God’s connection to all creation, and to explore nature, the Bible, and ourselves.

The Book of Psalms will be the primary focus of the Bible studies.
Dates: Saturdays, June 13; July 11, and August 8. Meet at the church parking lot at 8:00 a.m.
The hikes will be on easy trails; the distance hiked will be determined by the group. Those who do not wish to hike are encouraged to attend.

Since the weather can be unpredictable, locations will be made where overhead picnic pavilions are available, i.e. Lower Trail, Broad Top/Hopewell Rail Trail, Shawnee State Park and Canoe Creek State Park. Dress appropriately, it is always best to layer clothing so that you are prepared for both cooler and warmer temperatures. Bring a jacket or raincoat and a hat if you prefer. Whether or not you plan to hike, wear comfortable and appropriate shoes. Even though the pavilions have picnic tables, it might be a good idea to bring a folding chair if you have one.
Additional details will be posted in the Messenger, worship bulletins, and on the bulletin board in the narthex.
