Cooking for the Crowds

St. Matthew will host the program Cooking for Crowds: Food Safety for Volunteer Organizations

Thursday, September 19, 2019, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

If you are involved in preparing food for church dinners, fire company chicken barbecues, booster club hoagie sales, organizational bake sales, or other similar events to raise money for your organization, then this workshop is for you.

  • Learn the keys to safe food handling:
  • Preventing Cross Contamination
  • Controlling Time and Temperature
  • Good Personal Hygiene
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing

Cooking for Crowds provides practical food safety strategies for nonprofit organizations that prepare and serve food.

St. Matthew members may come for no charge, just let Peggy Freyer know that you are interested. Please encourage other community organizations to register for $50/organization up to 4 people, additional persons $5 each, or individuals for $25 each.
